Just a Few Hours Left...

...On my listings on eBay - featuring a number of like-new, third-edition-era GURPS books, as well as Kult second edition and Delta Green first printing (each of which is hard to find, especially in such pristine condition - and usually runs around $100 when you're lucky enough to come across a copy).

Sorry for the crass commercialism, but desperate times and all that. Thank you for your patience. I'd also say "Thank you for your support," but I don't want to sound like a Bartles & Jaymes ad. (Let's see how many readers get that reference - and are willing to give away their age by admitting to it!)

. . . . .

Hello there. My name is Gary Gygax and this is Dave Arneson. You know, it occurred to Dave the other day that between his fantasy campaigns inspired by the Braunstein games and my premium grade medieval miniatures rules, we could make a truly superior premium-grade tabletop game. It sounded good to me. So Ed took out a second on his house, and wrote to Harvard for an MBA, and now we’re preparing to enter the game business. We will try to keep you posted on how it’s going. And thank you for your support.

Heheh.

I used to have a life-sized cardboard stand-up of Misters Bartles and Jaymes that I procured from a grocery store where I once worked - it's really too bad it wasn't a stand-up of Gary and Dave, though. That would have been way cooler. (And would have certainly looked better next to my Elvira stand-up.)

Or not.

Ha ha, my two favorite Star Frontiers characters were a Human and Dralasite named Bartles and James. Good times.
