So... Where Were We?

Ah, yes - taking a look at some one-page dungeons from my scanning project.

Well here's another dungeon - I use that term very loosely here - from the 90's. The reason I use the term so loosely is that this isn't a dungeon in the gamer's standard sense of that term (and definitely not in the true definition of the word). It's really a lair - for a nasty old dragon (with a very uninspired name).

(BTW: The second set of stats is for Warhammer Quest Roleplay. I love WHQ, and I'm still a bit smitten with the idea of doing a WHQ Roleplay campaign. Maybe someday...)

  1. Chris,

I'm normally rather good with spatial relationships in diagrams, etc., but this one has me stumped.

Do you mind explaining where the spire of rock is on the top-down map?

    Thanks. :)

  2. Hey there, I wanted to show you this:

With your permission, could I reproduce your maps on my "found on the web" section of the archive site?

    Best,

  3. @Timeshadows: I never really gave it much thought, but I'd imagine the mountain's peak is roughly over the lower end of the rightmost -15' drop in the lower (larger) cave section. (Right above the "Remains of several..." note.)

This isn't shown on the map, but it's intended that the shaft wends its way up through the rock, rather than rising in a perfect vertical, and finally opens at the top of the mountain - roughly in line with the cave entrance - on the rock face opposite that seen in the illustration.

    Does that answer your question?
